Supercharger, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the A/C compressor ribbed belt, refer to RIBBED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, SUPERCHARGER RIBBED BELT .

-- Place the Shop Crane - Drip TrayVAS6208 under engine.

-- Clamp off the coolant hoses with the Hose Clamps - Up To 25mm 3094 and remove them from the coolant pipes on the supercharger by loosening the hose clamps -1-.

NOTE:

The installation location is shown with the engine removed.

Ignore item -2-.

-- Remove the rear engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Free up the fuel hose -1- and the EVAP canister hose -2- on the air duct pipe.

-- Remove the vacuum hose -3- from the air guide pipe connection.

-- Loosen the clamps -arrows- and remove the air guide pipe.

-- Disconnect the electrical connector -2- on EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve 1 -N80- and disconnect the vacuum hose -3- by pressing the release buttons.

-- Remove the EVAP Canister Purge Regulator Valve 1 -N80- from the bracket and lay it aside with the hose connected.

NOTE:

Ignore item -1-.

-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- from the Throttle Valve Control Module -J338-.

-- Disconnect the connector -arrow- on the Control Valve Control Unit -J808-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1, 2 and 3-.

NOTE:

Mark the vacuum hoses for installation later.

-- Disconnect the vacuum hoses -4 through 7-.

NOTE:

Ignore the -arrows-.

-- Disconnect the connector -1- on the Intake Air Temperature Sensor -G42- / Manifold Absolute Pressure Sensor -G71-.

-- Free up the vacuum hose -1-.

-- Remove the left and right bolts -arrows- and the cover -2-.

-- Free up the brake booster vacuum hose -2- on the bracket -1-.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1- and -2-.

-- Remove the nuts -arrows- and remove the supercharger with the charge air coolers upward.

-- Seal off the openings on the compressor and on the charge air pipe Engine Bung SetVAS6122.
