Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205 - / Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, CYLINDER BANK 1 (RIGHT): Removing

-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the hose clamps -arrows- and remove the air guide pipe.

WARNING:

Fire hazards and risk of damage for a faulty engine cover.

  • The engine cover must be always be installed before the hood is closed.
  • The engine may neither be started nor driven without an engine cover.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -2- in question and then remove the valve:
