Exhaust System, Installing Without Tension

• Align the exhaust system when cold.

NOTE:

The -arrow- points in the direction of travel.

-- Loosen the connections -3 and 4- on the front clamping sleeve -1-.

-- Align the front clamping sleeve to marking -A- on front exhaust pipe.

• Dimension -a- = 5 mm

-- Install the clamping sleeve so that the ends of the bolt do not extend beyond the lower edge of the clamping sleeve.

• Threaded connection points toward the right.

-- Hand tighten front connection -3- on clamping sleeve.

-- Push the exhaust system forward until the tension on the retaining straps for the rear muffler -a- = 15 ••• 17 mm.

-- Tighten the clamping sleeve connections -3 and 4- evenly.
