Balance Shaft, Removing And Installing, Intake Side: Removing

-- Remove the toothed belt from the coolant pump. Refer to COOLANT PUMP TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the upper timing chain cover. Refer to UPPER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the lower timing chain cover. Refer to LOWER TIMING CHAIN COVER, REPLACING .

-- Remove the camshaft timing chain. Refer to CAMSHAFT TIMING CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the balance shaft drive chain. Refer to BALANCE SHAFT DRIVE CHAIN, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -2- and then remove the drive gear -1- for the coolant pump toothed belt.

-- Remove the intermediate sprocket -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -2- on the intake side balance shaft.

-- Insert the :T10394/1  from the :T10394  and turn upward in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Insert the :T10394  and push the sliding sleeve in the direction of the -arrow-.

-- Install the :T10055  into the :T10394  and remove the balance shaft in the direction of -arrow-.
