DTC B15C0: Short in GPS Antenna; DTC B15C1: Open in GPS Antenna [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

- CHECK DTC
- Turn the power switch off.
- Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
- Turn the power switch on (IG) and wait for 10 seconds.
- Turn the Techstream on.
- Perform "Health Check" and check for current DTCs. Refer to HEALTH CHECK [08/2013 - ]

Result Proceed to DTC B15C0 or B15C1 is output. A DTC B15C0 or B15C1 is not output. B

- INSPECT TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (NO. 2 FLOOR WIRE)
- Disconnect the telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 2 floor wire) connector from the DCM (Telematics Transceiver).
- Disconnect the telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 2 floor wire) connector from the telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard Resistance

NG → REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (NO. 2 FLOOR WIRE)
OK: Go to next step
- Disconnect the telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 2 floor wire) connector from the DCM (Telematics Transceiver).
- INSPECT TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA CORD (NO. 3 ANTENNA CORD SUB-ASSEMBLY)
- Disconnect the telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly) connector from the telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 2 floor wire).
- Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

- Disconnect the telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 3 antenna cord sub-assembly) connector from the telephone and GPS antenna cord (No. 2 floor wire).
- REPLACE TELEPHONE AND GPS ANTENNA ASSEMBLY
- Replace the telephone and GPS antenna assembly with a known good one and check if the same problem occurs again. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]

The system returns to normal.

- REPLACE DCM (TELEMATICS TRANSCEIVER)
- Replace the DCM (Telematics Transceiver). Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]

- The power switch must be off.
- Do not replace the DCM (telematics transceiver) with one from another vehicle.
