DTC C1AB5: Open in Outer Mirror Indicator(Slave) [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .
2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

NG → See step   2 

OK → See step   7 

1. Disconnect the U9 blind spot monitor sensor RH connector.
2. Disconnect the L10 outer mirror control ECU assembly RH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   U9-4 (OMIR) - L10-13 (BDSR)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L10-7 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the z11 outer mirror control ECU assembly RH connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   L10-13 (BDSR) - z11-8 (BSM)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   L10-7 (GND) - z11-12 (-)	Always	Below 1 Ω

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the IND1 outer rear view mirror RH connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   z11-8 (BSM) - IND1-1 (+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   z11-12 (-) - IND1-2 (-)	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG → See step   9 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the outer rear view mirror RH. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .
2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

NG → See step   8 

OK → END (OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR RH WAS DEFECTIVE)
