DTC C1AB4: Open in Outer Mirror Indicator(Master) [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .
2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

NG → See step   2 

OK → See step   7 

1. Disconnect the U8 blind spot monitor sensor LH connector.
2. Disconnect the M9 outer mirror control ECU assembly LH connector.
3. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   U8-4 (OMIL) - M9-13 (BDSL)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M9-7 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the z10 outer mirror control ECU assembly LH connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   M9-13 (BDSL) - z10-8 (BSM)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   M9-7 (GND) - z10-12 (-)	Always	Below 1 Ω

OK: Go to next step 

1. Disconnect the IND2 outer rear view mirror LH connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   z10-8 (BSM) - IND2-1 (+)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   z10-12 (-) - IND2-2 (-)	Always	Below 1 Ω

NG → See step   9 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the outer rear view mirror LH. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .
2. Recheck for DTCs and check if the same DTC is output again.

   OK

   No DTCs are output.

NG → See step   8 

OK → END (OUTER REAR VIEW MIRROR LH WAS DEFECTIVE)
