Tire Pressure Warning Light Circuit [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

CHECK FOR DTC (CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM)

Check if CAN communication system DTCs are output. Refer to DIAGNOSIS SYSTEM [08/2013 - ] .

CHECK DTC OUTPUT (B1247)
1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .
2. Turn the power switch off.
3. Turn the power switch on (IG).
4. Check for DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .
  OK
  
  DTC B1247 is not output.
NG → See step 7

OK: Go to next step

CHECK OPERATION OF TIRE PRESSURE WARNING LIGHT (ACTIVE TEST)

Turn the power switch off.
Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
Turn the power switch on (IG).
Turn the Techstream on.
Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Combination Meter / Active Test.

Check the condition of the tire pressure warning light using the Techstream.

GO TO CAN COMMUNICATION SYSTEM. Refer to HOW TO PROCEED WITH TROUBLESHOOTING [08/2013 - ]
GO TO DTC B1247. Refer to DTC B1247: Tire Pressure Monitor Receiver Communication Stop [08/2013 - ]
