Wiper Signal Circuit [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

CHECK DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY (WIP2 VOLTAGE)

Disconnect the H75 driving support ECU assembly connector.

Turn the power switch on (IG).

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
H75-32 (WIP2) - Body ground	Power switch on (IG), windshield wiper switch assembly HI position	11 to 14 V

Reconnect the H75 driving support ECU assembly connector.

OK → See step 3

CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY - WINDSHIELD WIPER SWITCH ASSEMBLY)

Disconnect the H75 driving support ECU assembly connector.
Disconnect the H25 windshield wiper switch assembly connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance (Check for Open)

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
H75-32 (WIP2) - H25-3 (+2)	Always	Below 1 Ω

Standard Resistance (Check for Short)

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
H75-32 (WIP2) or H25-3 (+2) - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

Reconnect the H25 windshield wiper switch assembly connector.
Reconnect the H75 driving support ECU assembly connector.

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR

OK → See step 4
