Removal [08/2013 - ]

HINT: 

• Use the same procedure for the RH and LH sides.
• The procedure described below is for the LH side.

1. PRECAUTION (for HID Headlight) 

   Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2013 - ]

   NOTE:

   After turning the power switch off, waiting time may be required before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal. Therefore, make sure to read the disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal notices before proceeding with work. Refer to PRECAUTION [08/2013 - ] .

2. REMOVE LUGGAGE TRIM SERVICE HOLE COVER (for HID Headlight)  . Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] - Step 2
3. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM AUXILIARY BATTERY NEGATIVE TERMINAL (for HID Headlight) 
   NOTE:

   When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2013 - ] .

4. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY 

   Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]

5. REMOVE FRONT FENDER UPPER PROTECTOR 
   1. Disengage the 4 clips.

   2. Disengage the 2 guides and remove the front fender upper protector.
6. REMOVE HEADLIGHT ASSEMBLY 
   1. Remove the 3 screws and bolt.

   2. Disconnect each connector and remove the headlight assembly.
