Brake Electric Vacuum Pump, Removing And Installing, RS 5: Notes
NOTE:
To remove the Brake System Vacuum Pump -V192-, the left front wheel housing liner must be removed. Refer to WHEEL HOUSING LINER .
The construction of the vacuum pump V192 depends on the engine.
The Brake System Vacuum Pump -V192- is switched on by the engine control module depending on the intake manifold pressure.
The vacuum pump is not intended to be serviced. In case of complains, determine the cause with the help of a function or leak test. If there is a malfunction, replace the electric vacuum pump.
