Ground Connection, Routing And Securing To Discharge Electrostatic Charge

There is a risk of explosion due to electrostatic charge.
- After installing, check the electrical connection on fuel filler neck metal ring to a bare spot on the body using an ohmmeter.
- Specified Value: Approximately 0 Ω.
-- Route the ground connection as shown.
-- Make sure the following connectors are secure:
- Connector -2- for ground connection on the threaded ring -3- of the fuel filler neck.
-- Engage the ground connection contact -1- in the mounting hole on the fuel tank -4- and then install the spacer -5-.
- Ground connection connector -2- on the threaded ring -1- of the fuel filler neck.
- Connector -3- for the ground connection on the protective plate -4- of the fuel filler tube.
-- Engage the ground connection contact -6- in the mounting hole on the fuel tank and then install the spacer -5-.

- Ground connection connector -4- on the threaded ring -1- of the fuel filler neck.
-- Engage the ground connection contact -3- in the hole on the fuel tank and then install the spacer -2-.
