CAUTION:
This procedure contains mandatory replaceable parts. Refer to component overview and parts information prior to starting procedure.
Mandatory Replacement Parts
- Bolt - Fuel Filler Neck to Body
- Bolt - Fuel Tank to Body
- Bolt - Mounting Strap to Body
NOTE:
For AWD vehicles in the North America market, there is no sealing flange on the left side of the fuel tank. After evacuating the right fuel tank chamber, place the suction hose from the :VAS5190A through the right sealing flange as deep as possible into the left fuel tank chamber to continue extracting fuel.
WARNING:
Danger Due To Escaping Fuel.
- Because on North America vehicles after siphoning a small amount of fuel can remain in the fuel tank, the fuel tank must be handled with special care when removing and installing.
