1. Fuel Level Sensor -G-
   • For checking the resistance values. Refer to FUEL GAUGE SENSOR -G-, CHECKING, VEHICLES WITH AWD .
   • Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL LEVEL SENSOR -G-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
2. Fuel Delivery Unit
   • With Transfer Fuel Pump -G6-
   • With integrated fuel filter, the fuel filter cannot be replaced individually
   • Check the electric fuel. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
   • Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL DELIVERY UNIT/FUEL LEVEL SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITH ALL WHEEL DRIVE (AWD) .
   • It must be ensured that at least 5 liters (1.3 gallons) of fuel are in the fuel tank after installing the fuel delivery unit.
3. Seal
   • Always replace after removing
   • Install dry
4. Fuel Line to Parking Heater Metering Pump
   • Country specific NAR: without parking heater
   • Removing and installing. Refer to the appropriate service information.
5. Fuel Line
   • To the engine
   • Do not kink
   • Connector coupling, separating and connecting. Refer to CONNECTOR COUPLINGS, DISCONNECTING .
6. Connector
   • For the Fuel Pump Control Module -J538-
   • Pull on the connector to make sure it is locked secure.
7. Fuel Pump Control Module -J538-
   • Checking. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
   • Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE -J538-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES WITHOUT HIGH-VOLTAGE SYSTEM .
8. Connector
   • For Transfer Fuel Pump -G6-
   • Pull on the connector to make sure it is locked secure.
9. Connector
   • For Fuel Level Sensor -G- and Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169-
   • Pull on the connector to make sure it is locked secure.
10. Locking Ring
    • 110 Nm 
    • Loosen and tighten using the Wrench - Fuel Sending Unit:T10202 
11. Locking Ring
    • 110 Nm 
    • Country specific NAR: not equipped
    • Loosen and tighten using the Wrench - Fuel Sending Unit:T10202 
12. Locking Flange
    • Country specific NAR: not equipped
    • Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL LEVEL SENSOR 2 -G169-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
13. Seal
    • Always replace after removing
    • Country specific NAR: not equipped
    • Install dry
14. Fuel Level Sensor 2 -G169-
    • Country specific NAR: Fuel tank without a left mounting opening, removing the fuel level sensor 2 is not possible
    • For checking the resistance values. Refer to FUEL LEVEL SENSOR 2 -G169-, CHECKING .
    • Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL LEVEL SENSOR 2 -G169-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
15. Mount with Suction Jet Pump
    • No replacement part
    • Welded to the fuel tank
    • Function of suction jet pump. Refer to SUCTION JET PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
