MISFUELING Guard, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note The Following:

-- Insert the misfueling guard into the fuel filler tube.

The tab on the incorrect fuel protection must fit into the groove in the fuel filler tube -arrows-.

-- Turn the locking ring 25° clockwise and install it using locking ring pliers.

-- If installed correctly, the markings on the locking ring and on the fuel filler tube will be opposite each other -arrows-.
