Overview - Fuel Delivery Unit/Fuel Level Sensor, Vehicles With All Wheel Drive AWD

- Fuel Delivery Unit
- Equipment levels without parking heater
- With Transfer Fuel Pump -G6-
- Check the electric fuel pump using Guided Fault Finding . Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
- Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL DELIVERY UNIT/FUEL LEVEL SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Fill the fuel tank with at least five liters of fuel after installing
- Fuel Delivery Unit
- Equipment levels with parking heater
- With Transfer Fuel Pump -G6-
- Check the electric fuel pump using Guided Fault Finding . Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester
- Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL DELIVERY UNIT/FUEL LEVEL SENSOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- After replacing, reset the adaption values. Refer to Vehicle Diagnostic Tester, Guided Functions , Reset adaptation values
- Fill the fuel tank with at least five liters of fuel after installing
- Fuel Level Sensor -G-
- For checking the resistance values, refer to FUEL LEVEL SENSOR - G-, CHECKING .
- Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL LEVEL SENSOR - G-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Seal
- Replacing
- Install dry
- Locking Ring
- 110 Nm
- Loosen and tighten using the Wrench - Fuel Sending Unit:T10202
- Fuel Return Line
- From engine
- Do not kink
- To remove from the locking flange, press the release button.
- Note direction of arrow (fuel supply or return) on locking flange when installing
- Clipped to the fuel tank
- Press again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
- Fuel Supply Line
- To fuel filter
- Do not kink
- To remove from the locking flange, press the release button.
- Note direction of arrow (fuel supply or return) on locking flange when installing
- Clipped to the fuel tank
- Press again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
- Fuel Line to Parking Heater Metering Pump
- Not available for North America
- Fuel Pump Control Module -J538-

- Removing and installing. Refer to FUEL PUMP CONTROL MODULE - J538-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Make sure it is attached securely
- Connector

- Make sure it is attached securely

- Make sure it is attached securely
- Connector

- Make sure it is attached securely
- Locking Ring
- 110 Nm
- Loosen and tighten using the Wrench - Fuel Sending Unit:T10202
- Seal
- Replacing
- Install dry
