Test Conditions

- Battery voltage at least 12.5 V. If required, connect the battery charger.
- Fuses are OK. Refer to the Appropriate Systems Wiring Diagram.
- Fuel Pump Control Module -J538- is OK; check in Guided Fault Finding with the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
- Fuel tank minimum 1 /4 full.
- Fuel filter is OK.
- Fuel lines are OK (not plugged, not kinked).
- Vehicle filled with diesel fuel treated for the season. Summer diesel fuel can coagulate at low winter temperatures under some conditions.
- All electrical equipment switched off.
