Overview - Toothed Belt
- Bolt
- Replace after removing
- Loosen and tighten with the Counterhold - Crankshaft Sprocket: 3415
- Do not oil the thread and the collar
Tighten in three steps as follows:
- 1. Step: 180 Nm
- 2. Step: 90° additional turn with a rigid wrench
- 3. Step: 45° additional turn with a rigid wrench.
- Crankshaft Toothed Belt Sprocket
- There must be no oil on the contact surface between the toothed belt sprocket and crankshaft
- Only possible to install in one position
- Nut
- 20 Nm
- Damper Roller
- Stud Bolt
- 15 Nm
- Replace only if damaged
- Nut
- Replace
- Checking the stud bolt for secure fit
- 20 Nm +45°
- Tensioning Roller
- Stud Bolt
- 15 Nm
- Replace only if damaged
- Toothed Belt
- Before removing, mark the running direction using chalk or felt-tip pen
- Check for wear
- Removing. Refer to TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Installing (adjusting valve timing). Refer to Installing (Adjusting Valve Timing) .
- Bolt
- Loosen and tighten with the Counterhold - Kit - Multiple Use: T10172 with Camshaft Lock: T10172/11
- Do not oil the thread and the collar
- 100 Nm
- Bolt
- Self-locking
- Replace after removing
- 9 Nm
- Camshaft Toothed Belt Sprocket
- There must be no oil on the contact surface between the toothed belt sprocket and the camshaft
- Camshaft Carrier
- Removing and Installing. Refer to CAMSHAFT HOUSING, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- 20 Nm
- Damper Roller
- High Pressure Pump
- Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - HIGH PRESSURE PUMP .
- High Pressure Pump Hub
- Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - HIGH PRESSURE PUMP .
- There must be no oil on the contact surface between the hub and the toothed belt sprocket
- High Pressure Pump Toothed Belt Sprocket
- Overview. Refer to OVERVIEW - HIGH PRESSURE PUMP .
- There must be no oil on the contact surface between the hub and the toothed belt sprocket
- Nut
- Do not oil the thread and the collar
- Use the Counterhold - Camshaft Gear: T10051 to loosen and tighten
- 95 Nm
- O-Ring
- Replace after removing
- Coat with coolant
- Coolant Pump
- Removing and Installing. Refer to COOLANT PUMP, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
- Bolt
- Replace after removing
- 20 Nm + 45°
- Tightening specification Item: Bolt .
