Reducing Agent Line Connector, Disconnecting
Special Tools And Workshop Equipment Required

There is a risk of injury due to escaping reducing agent.
Reducing agents may cause eye and skin irritation as well as injury to the respiratory system and possible poisoning.
- Wear protective eyewear.
- Wear safety gloves.
- Wear protective work clothing.
- Make sure there is a fresh air supply. Turn on exhaust extraction when in closed spaces.
-- Drain the reducing agent.
Use the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.
- Select 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) Capable Systems
- 01 - Engine Electronics
- 01 - Engine Electronics, Functions
- 01 - Metering Line, Draining
-- Clean the area around the clamp with water.
-- To catch escaping reducing agent place a clean cloth under the coupling point.
-- Push the connector opposite the direction of -arrow 2-.
-- Push the reducing agent clip -1- together as shown in the direction of the -arrow 1-.
-- Remove the reducing agent line in the direction of -arrow 2- without special equipment and without sharply pulling on it.
-- To catch escaping reducing agent place a clean cloth under the separation point.
-- Seal all the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the :VAS6122 .
