Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 -G450-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal.Note The Following: 

-- Before installing the control lines leading from Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 -G450- to the particulate filter, clean them with compressed air to make sure they are not plugged or iced over by condensation water.

-- When connecting the hoses check the hoses for secure fit and leaks.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that match the ones used in series production. Refer to the Parts information.

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- After replacing the Exhaust Pressure Sensor 1 -G450- the adaptation value in the engine control module must be adapted. The switch on the ignition and select the following menu items on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

• Select 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) Capable Systems 
• 01 - Engine Electronics 
• 01 - Engine Electronics, Functions 
• 01 - Reseting Adaptation Values
