Differential Pressure Sensor -G505-, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install In Reverse Order Of Removal.Note The Following: 

-- Before installing, clean the control lines leading from the Differential Pressure Sensor -G505- to the particulate filter with compressed air to make sure they are not plugged or iced over with condensation water.

-- When connecting the hoses check the hoses for secure fit and leaks.

• Secure all hose connections with hose clamps that match the ones used in series production. Refer to the Parts information.

-- Install the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- After replacing the Differential Pressure Sensor -G505-, the adaptation values must be adapted in the engine control module.

-- Turn on the ignition and select the following menu items using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

• Select 01 - On Board Diagnostic (OBD) Capable Systems 
• 01 - Engine Electronics 
• 01 - Engine Electronics, Functions 
• 01 - Reseting Adaptation Values
