Driver Assistance Systems Front Camera, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Cabriolet: Remove the windshield frame trim panel. Refer to VEHICLE INTERIOR TRIM PANELS .
-- Unclip the cover -1- with the narrow medium-hard clip release lever in direction of -arrow A- and remove downward, by carefully inserting the clip release lever between the windshield and the cover.
-- Disengage the front cover on the front camera bracket in direction of -arrows B- and remove downward.
-- Position the screwdriver -2- on the retaining pin -3- as illustrated and slowly press the front camera -6- out of the retaining clip -4- in direction of -arrow-.
-- Remove the front camera out of the guides for the retaining plate -1-.
-- Disconnect the connector -5- and remove the front camera.
LENS SHADE, REMOVING
-- Free up the connector -4- and disconnect the connector -3-.
-- Press the retainers in direction of -arrow- and remove the lens shade -2- downward from the retaining plate -1-.
