Overview - Rear Lid, Lock Cylinder

  1. Rear Lid Lock Release Cable
    • The rear lid trim panel is removed, refer to Luggage Compartment Trim Panels .
    • The cover -3- is removed.

      -- Disengage it from the rear lid lock and remove it with the lock cylinder through the rear lid.

    • The release cable must audibly engage into the lock cylinder when installed.

    • 8 Nm
  3. Cover
  4. Bolt
    • 8 Nm
  5. Grommet
    • Must be installed correctly into the rear lid.
  6. Handle
  7. Bracket
  8. Nut
    • 6 Nm
  9. Lock Cylinder
    • The rear lid trim panel is removed, refer to Luggage Compartment Trim Panels .

      -- Disengage the release cable from the rear lid lock.

    • Remove the bolts on the cover and remove the lock cylinder from the grip piece toward the inside.
