1. Spring Bracket
   • No replacement part
2. Spring
   • Engaging:

     The side trim panel is removed, refer to Luggage Compartment Trim Panels .

     -- With the lid closed, engage the spring first on the hinge side and then on the body side.

     -- Install the spring to the bolt and to the bracket so that the rounded end faces up. This applies to both sides of the vehicle.

   • Pay attention to the attachment point on the body, refer to Attaching Points

-- Push the attachment piece -2- onto the spring -1- so that 5 coils -a- remain on the bracket -3-.
