Hinges, Removing And Installing, Vehicles With Pedestrian Protection

-- Before removing a hinge, support the hood or secure it against falling.

-- Install the gas-filled strut, refer to GAS-FILLED STRUT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove hood hinge pedestrian protection trigger 1.

• Remove the bolts -5- and nuts -2-.
• Install in reverse order of removal.

• 21 Nm

• Install the gas-filled strut tube on the hood side.
• Removing, refer to GAS-FILLED STRUT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

• 21 Nm
