Transmission Mount, Removing And Installing: Removing
-- Remove the engine cover. Refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Remove the battery tray -1-. Refer to BATTERY .
-- Remove the Engine Control Module -J623- from the bracket. Refer to Engine Control Module -J623-, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .
-- Expose the vacuum hoses -arrows-.
-- Remove the clamp -1- and remove the air guide pipe.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the bracket -1-.
- Depending on the version different brackets are installed.
-- Unclip the wiring guide -1- upward and move it slightly to the side in direction of -arrows-.
-- Remove the nut -arrow- and remove the ground wire.
- The illustration shows a vehicle with dual-clutch transmission 0CW.
-- Remove windshield wiper arms. Refer to WINDSHIELD WIPER SYSTEM .
-- Remove the plenum chamber cover. Refer to BULKHEAD .
-- Remove caps above the front suspension strut bolted connections.
-- Place the :10-222A/31-2 on the suspension strut mounts.
- The ribs -arrow- faces the direction of travel.
-- Position the :10-222A/4 with :T40091/3 as shown in the illustration.
-- Install the additional tools on the left in the engine compartment as illustrated.
-- Attach the left :10-222A/11 carabiner hook to the engine lifting eye -arrow-.
-- Slightly pretension the engine/transmission assembly with the spindle, do not lift.
-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and the transmission mount -1-.
