Camshaft Adjuster, Removing And Installing: Installing

Install in the reverse order of removal while noting the following:

CAUTION:

Risk of destroying the engine with the friction disc not being installed.

- Check the installation of the friction disc (diamond disc) between the camshaft adjuster and the camshaft stub.

-- Pay attention after installing the friction disc.

-- Install the upper toothed belt guard. Refer to UPPER TOOTHED BELT GUARD, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- After replacing or removing and installing the camshaft adjuster, perform the necessary adaptations using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester and refer to PERFORM ADAPTATIONS AFTER COMPONENT REPLACEMENT .
