Connecting Brace, Removing And Installing: Installing

• Tightening specification. Refer to OVERVIEW - IMPACT MEMBER .

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

-- Connect the connector -3- to the front Airbag Crash Sensor while observing the safety precautions. Refer to PYROTECHNIC COMPONENTS SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Vehicles through MY 2014: Press the front bumper cover mount -3- against the headlamp housing -2- -arrow-, hold it in this position and then tighten the bolt -1-.

• The rib -4- on the mount must touch the headlamp housing.

-- Install the bumper cover mount. Refer to BUMPER COVER MOUNT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, VEHICLES THROUGH MY 2014 .
