-- Try to install the thickest locking ring into the groove in the transmission housing.
- It should be easy to install the locking ring without bending it.
- The locking ring must fit inside the bottom of the groove.
-- Use the next thinner locking ring if the one locking ring does not fit into the groove. Use the thinnest locking ring if necessary.
-- Replace the ATF filter. Refer to ATF FILTER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING (As of 11.2014).
