Coolant Thermostat, Removing And Installing: Removing

Depending on the model, preliminary work may be required. Refer to COOLANT THERMOSTAT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Drain the coolant. Refer to COOLANT, DRAINING AND FILLING .

-- Remove the air duct pipe. Refer to AIR DUCT PIPE, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- If installed, remove the screw -arrow-.

-- Free up the coolant hose -2- and the wiring harness -1-.

-- Remove the bracket.

-- Remove the bolt -2- on the bracket for the After-Run Coolant Pump -V51-.

TIP:

The After-Run Coolant Pump -V51- stays in the installation position.

-- Open the clamps -1 and 2- remove the coolant hoses and move them to the side.

-- Remove the oil separator. Refer to OIL SEPARATOR, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Loosen the nut -2-, remove the bolt -1- and move the support for the intake manifold to the right.

-- Remove bolts -arrows- and remove the connection.

-- Remove the coolant thermostat.
