Coolant Pump Toothed Belt, Removing And Installing: Removing

-- Remove the small coolant pipe. Refer to COOLANT PUMP TOOTHED BELT, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolt -2- on the bracket for the After-Run Coolant Pump -V51-.

TIP:

The After-Run Coolant Pump -V51- stays in the installation position.

-- Open the clamps -1 and 2- remove the coolant hoses and move them to the side.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the toothed belt guard.

TIP:

The drive wheel bolt has a left thread.

-- Loosen the bolt on the coolant pump drive wheel -1- clockwise in the directzion of -arrow- and unscrew it three turns using the :VAG1410 and the : T10360 .

-- To do so counterhold on the vibration damper with the :T40263 , :T40314 and the 24 mm socket.

-- Remove the toothed belt -2-.
