Removal And Installation

NOTE: Left Hand (LH) side shown, RH side similar.

1.

Remove the fender splash shield. For additional information, refer to Fender Splash Shield .

2.

Remove the front bumper cover-to-fender bolts.
- To install, tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).

3.

Remove the headlamp assembly. For additional information, refer to Exterior Lighting .

4.

Remove the fender-to-radiator support bolt.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

5.

Remove the lower fender bolts.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

6.

Using a knife, cut the foam sealant between the fender and body.

7.

Remove the inner fender bolts.
- To install, tighten to 12 Nm (106 lb-in).

Remove the cowl panel grille. For additional information, refer to Cowl Panel Grille .

9.

Remove the upper fender bolts and remove the fender.
- To install, tighten to 9 Nm (80 lb-in).

NOTE: This step is only necessary when installing a new component.

Remove the push pins and the expandable foam baffle.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.
