Removal And Installation

NOTE:
Right side with power vent windows shown, all others similar.
- 1.NOTE: Inspect the shoulder safety belt guide cover for damage. If the shoulder safety belt guide cover is damaged or cover does not remain closed, install a new shoulder safety belt guide cover.
Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.
- 1.
Position the shoulder safety belt guide cover upward.
- 2.
Remove the shoulder safety belt guide bolt.- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

Remove the shoulder safety belt guide.

Remove the rear upper headliner trim panel.- Pull the rear upper headliner trim panel downward to release the retaining clips.
- 3.NOTE: To avoid damage to the D-pillar trim panel, remove any retaining clips from the body and attach them to the D-pillar trim panel before installing.
Remove the D-pillar trim panel.

Disengage the upper clip by pulling downward.
- 2.
Unseat the D-pillar trim panel and rotate forward to remove.
- If equipped, disconnect the speaker electrical connector.
