Overview - Center Differential Housing And Center Differential

Bolt
- 24 Nm
- Steel bolts (M8; 63 mm long)
- Quantity: 2
Center Differential Housing
- With or without vibration dampener, depending on version
- Removing and installing. Refer to TRANSMISSION, DISASSEMBLING AND ASSEMBLING .
- Servicing. Refer to OVERVIEW - CENTER DIFFERENTIAL HOUSING .
Bolt
- 10 Nm + 90° additional turn
- Always replace.
- Aluminum bolts (M8; 42 mm long)
- Quantity: 11
Pressure Spring
Plate Spring
- Installed position: The camber on the inner diameter faces the center differential housing
Shim
- For bearing preloading the ball bearings for the center differential
- Selecting thickness. Refer to BEARING PRE-LOAD, RECALCULATING, CENTER DIFFERENTIAL BALL BEARING .
Center Differential
- Servicing only by the manufacturer
- Center differential bearing, servicing. Refer to OVERVIEW - SPUR GEAR FOR BEARING AND CENTER DIFFERENTIAL .
Spacer Sleeve
Gear Carrier
- Pay attention to the installed position to the transmission cover. Refer to ASSEMBLING TRANSMISSION - Install the Gear carrier -1- on the transmission cover as follows: (See Figure).
