DTC B2788: IG2 Signal Malfunction [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

INSPECT STEERING LOCK ECU (POWER SOURCE MODE SIGNAL)

Make sure that there is no looseness at the locking part and the connecting part of the connector.
Disconnect the H18 steering lock ECU connector.

Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
H18-1 (GND) - Body ground	Always	Below 1 Ω

Reconnect the H18 steering lock ECU connector.

Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Voltage

Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
H18-6 (IG2) - H18-1 (GND)	Power switch on (IG)	11 to 14 V
H18-6 (IG2) - H18-1 (GND)	Power switch off	Below 1 V

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
