DTC C1210/36: Zero Point Calibration of Yaw Rate Sensor Undone; DTC C1336/98: Zero Point Calibration of Acceleration Sensor Undone [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Perform zero point calibration of the yaw rate and acceleration sensor. Refer to CALIBRATION [08/2013 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .
3. Turn the power switch on (READY).
4. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 30 km/h (18 mph) or more, turn the steering wheel, and decelerate (depress the brake pedal) the vehicle.
5. Check if the same DTC is output. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .

   Result

   Result	Proceed to
   DTCs C1210/36 and/or C1336/98 are output.	A
   DTCs C1210/36 and C1336/98 are not output.	B

   HINT: 

   • These DTCs are recorded because zero point calibration has not been completed.
   • End the procedure if the same DTCs are not recorded after completion of zero point calibration.

A: Go to next step 

1. Turn the power switch off.
2. Check that the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly) has been installed properly. Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] .

   OK

   The sensor is tightened to the specified torque.

   The sensor is not tilted.

NG → See step   6 

OK: Go to next step 

1. Replace the yaw rate and acceleration sensor (airbag sensor assembly). Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] .
   NOTE:

   Check the yaw rate and acceleration sensor signal after replacement. Refer to TEST MODE PROCEDURE [08/2013 - ] .

NEXT: Go to next step 

1. Clear the DTCs. Refer to DTC CHECK / CLEAR [08/2013 - ] .
2. Turn the power switch on (READY).
3. Drive the vehicle at a speed of 30 km/h (18 mph) or more, turn the steering wheel, and decelerate (depress the brake pedal) the vehicle.
