DTC C1203/95: ECM Communication Circuit Malfunction [08/2013 - ]: Description

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2014 Lexus ES 300h. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

This circuit is used to send TR(A)C and VSC information from the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) to the power management control ECU, and hybrid control system information from the power management control ECU to the skid control ECU (brake booster with master cylinder assembly) via CAN communication.

Identification information sent from other ECUs is stored when the vehicle is shipped from the factory and used as the default values.

NOTE:

DTC C1203/95 is output when an incorrect ECU is installed. If initialization is performed and learning occurs with an incorrect ECU installed, operations and functions will differ from those stored when the vehicle was shipped from the factory. Therefore, make sure that learning occurs properly.
