Installation [08/2013 - ]

HINT:

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.
The following procedure is for the LH side.

INSTALL FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
1. Place the front seat assembly in the cabin.
  NOTE:
  Be careful not to damage the vehicle body.
2. Connect each connector and engage each clamp under the seat.
3. Connect the cable to the negative (-) auxiliary battery terminal.
  NOTE:
  When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected. Refer to INITIALIZATION [08/2013 - ] .
4. Temporarily install the front seat assembly with the 4 bolts.
5. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.
6. Tighten the 2 bolts on the front side of the seat.

  Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)
  
  NOTE:
  Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.
7. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the seat to the foremost position.
8. Tighten the 2 bolts on the rear side of the seat.

  Torque: 37 N*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*lbf)
  
  NOTE:
  Tighten the bolts in the order indicated in the illustration.
INSTALL REAR INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER
1. Engage the 2 claws to install the rear inner seat track bracket cover.
INSTALL REAR OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER
1. Engage the 2 claws to install the rear outer seat track bracket cover.
INSTALL FRONT INNER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER
1. Operate the slide and vertical power seat switch knob and move the seat to the rearmost position.
2. Engage the 2 claws to install the front inner seat track bracket cover.
INSTALL FRONT OUTER SEAT TRACK BRACKET COVER
1. Engage the 2 claws to install the front outer seat track bracket cover.
CONNECT FRONT SEAT OUTER BELT ASSEMBLY . Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] - Step 10
INSTALL SEAT BELT ANCHOR COVER CAP . Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] - Step 11
INSTALL FRONT SEAT HEADREST ASSEMBLY
INSPECT FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY
1. Check power seat operation.
  w/o Memory: Refer to OPERATION CHECK [08/2013 - ]
  
  w/ Memory: Refer to OPERATION CHECK [08/2013 - ]
2. w/ Seat Heater System:
  Check seat heater operation.
  1. Turn the power switch on (IG).
  2. Turn the seat heater switch on.
  3. Wait 5 minutes or more and confirm that the seat surface becomes warm.
INSPECT SRS WARNING LIGHT
