- REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY LH

- REMOVE FRONT SEAT ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY
Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ]
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
- Disengage the 10 claws and remove the front door scuff plate LH.
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD LH
- Remove the clip.
- Disengage the claw and clip, and remove the cowl side trim board LH.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER LH
- Disengage the 3 claws.
- Disengage the guide and remove the front door opening trim cover LH.
- REMOVE FRONT PILLAR GARNISH LH
- Pull the upper part of the garnish toward the inside of the cabin and disengage the garnish from the base of the 2 clips.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Front Pillar Garnish Clip HINT:
Make the front pillar garnish LH hang down from the front pillar garnish clip.
- While pushing the tabs on the front pillar garnish clip in the direction indicated by the arrow (A) shown in the illustration, disengage the front pillar garnish clip.
- Pull the garnish in the direction indicated by the arrow (B) shown in the illustration to disengage the 2 guides and remove the front pillar garnish LH.
- Protect the curtain shield airbag assembly.

TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION*1 Adhesive Tape *2 Protective Cover *3 Curtain Shield Airbag Assembly - Cover the airbag with a piece of cloth or nylon and secure the edges of the cover with tape as shown in the illustration.NOTE:
Cover the curtain shield airbag with a protective cover as soon as the front pillar garnish LH is removed.
- Cover the airbag with a piece of cloth or nylon and secure the edges of the cover with tape as shown in the illustration.
- Pull the upper part of the garnish toward the inside of the cabin and disengage the garnish from the base of the 2 clips.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
- Disengage the 8 claws and remove the rear door scuff plate LH.
- REMOVE CENTER PILLAR LOWER GARNISH LH
- Disengage the 2 claws and 2 guides.
- Disengage the 5 clips and remove the center pillar lower garnish LH.
- REMOVE CENTER PILLAR UPPER GARNISH LH
- Remove the 2 screws.
- Disengage the clip.
- Pass the floor anchor of the front seat outer belt assembly LH through the center pillar upper garnish LH and remove the center pillar upper garnish LH.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR SCUFF PLATE RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE COWL SIDE TRIM BOARD RH

Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM COVER RH

- REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH RH

HINT:
Use the same procedure for the RH side.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 assist grip covers.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION
*1 Protective Tape NOTE:Do not forcibly pry the assist grip covers to prevent them from being deformed.
HINT:
Tape the screwdriver tip before use.
- Disengage the 2 clips and remove the assist grip sub-assembly.
- Remove the 2 clips from the vehicle body.
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 assist grip covers.
- REMOVE REAR ASSIST GRIP ASSEMBLY LH
- Using a screwdriver, disengage the 4 claws and remove the 2 assist grip covers.TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION

- REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER (for LH Side)
- Using a molding remover, disengage the 4 claws and remove the visor bracket cover.
- REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY LH
- Remove the 2 screws and visor assembly LH.
- REMOVE VISOR BRACKET COVER (for RH Side)
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE VISOR ASSEMBLY RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE VISOR HOLDER
HINT:
Use the same procedure for the other visor holder.
- Turn the visor holder approximately 45° and pull it out as shown in the illustration.
- Disengage the 2 claws and remove the visor holder.
- REMOVE ROOF HEADLINING ASSEMBLY
- Disconnect the connector from the inner rear view mirror assembly.
- Disconnect the connector from the humidity sensor.
- w/ Rain Sensor:
- Disconnect the connector from the rain sensor.
- w/ Lane Departure Alert System:
- Disconnect the connector from the lane departure warning camera.
- Disconnect the connector from the sliding roof drive gear sub-assembly.

- Disengage the 2 clamps from the front pillar RH.
- w/o Telephone Antenna:
- Disengage the clamp and disconnect the connector from the rear pillar RH.
- w/ Telephone Antenna:
- Disengage the clamp and disconnect the 2 connectors from the rear pillar RH.
- Disengage the 12 claws and 11 fasteners.
- Slide the roof headlining assembly to disengage the 3 clips and guide as shown in the illustration.
HINT:
Leave the 3 clips in the vehicle.
- Remove the roof headlining assembly from the vehicle through the rear door as shown in the illustration.
NOTE:
Do not damage the roof headlining assembly or body interior.
- Remove the 3 clips from the vehicle body as shown in the illustration.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
- Remove the front door opening trim weatherstrip LH.
- Remove the residual weatherstrip sealant from the body of the vehicle using cleaner.NOTE:
Remove the sealant completely. Any residual sealant may transfer to other areas of the vehicle when removing/installing the interior parts.
- REMOVE FRONT DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP LH
- Remove the rear door opening trim weatherstrip LH.
- Remove the residual weatherstrip sealant from the body of the vehicle using cleaner.NOTE:
Remove the sealant completely. Any residual sealant may transfer to other areas of the vehicle when removing/installing the interior parts.
- REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHERSTRIP RH
HINT:
Use the same procedure as for the LH side.
