Rear Door Courtesy Switch Circuit [08/2013 - ]: Procedure

1. Connect the Techstream to the DLC3.
2. Turn the power switch on (IG).
3. Turn the Techstream on.
4. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List.
5. Read the display on the Techstream.

1. Remove the rear door courtesy light switch assembly. Refer to REMOVAL [08/2013 - ] .
2. Inspect the rear door courtesy light switch assembly. Refer to INSPECTION [08/2013 - ] .

   OK

   Rear door courtesy light switch assembly is normal.

1. Disconnect the H11 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   P8-1 - H11-3 (LCTY)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   P8-1 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR 

OK → See step   6 

1. Disconnect the H10 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector.
2. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

   Standard Resistance

   Tester Connection	Condition	Specified Condition
   Q13-1 - H10-6 (RCTY)	Always	Below 1 Ω
   Q13-1 - Body ground	Always	10 kΩ or higher

NG → REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
