Installation [08/2013 - ]

  1. INSTALL BATTERY SMART UNIT 
    WARNING:

    Wear insulated gloves.

    1. Install the battery smart unit together with the No. 2 hybrid vehicle battery shield panel to the side of the HV battery from the rear of the vehicle.

      *1 Battery Smart Unit
      *2 No. 2 Hybrid Vehicle Battery Shield Panel

      HINT: 

      When installing the battery smart unit and No. 2 hybrid vehicle battery shield panel to the vehicle, they can only be installed as a unit.

    2. Install the battery smart unit with the bolt.

      *a Black Label

      Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf) 

      NOTE:

      Check color of the label.

    3. Connect the connector to the battery smart unit.
      NOTE:

      The connector should be connected securely.

    4. Install the No. 2 hybrid vehicle battery shield panel to the HV battery with the 2 bolts and nut.

      Torque: 7.5 N*m (76 kgf*cm, 66 in.*lbf) 

    5. Connect the 3 wire harness clamps to the No. 2 hybrid vehicle battery shield panel.
    6. Connect the 2 connectors to the battery smart unit.
      NOTE:

      The connectors should be connected securely.

    7. Install the battery cover lock striker, then push the button to lock it.

  2. INSTALL BATTERY COOLING BLOWER ASSEMBLY  See step  1
  3. INSTALL NO. 2 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT  See step  2
  4. INSTALL NO. 2 HYBRID VEHICLE BATTERY UPPER COVER BRACKET  See step  3
  5. INSTALL NO. 1 HYBRID BATTERY INTAKE DUCT  See step  4
  6. INSTALL ROOM PARTITION PANEL INSULATOR 
    1. Install the room partition panel insulator with the 4 clips.
  7. INSTALL REAR SEAT SIDE GARNISH LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] - Step 24
  8. INSTALL REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH  . Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ] - Step 29
  9. INSTALL REAR SEAT ASSEMBLY 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ]

  10. INSTALL SERVICE PLUG GRIP 

    Refer to INSTALLATION [08/2013 - ]
