Purge Control Solenoid Valve

Check that the purge control solenoid valve has no deformation, cracks or other damages.

Measure the resistance between the purge control solenoid valve terminals.

TERMINAL RESISTANCE REFERENCE CHART

	Terminal No.	Standard
Purge control solenoid valve 1	1 and 2	32±2 Ω (when 20°C (68°F))
Purge control solenoid valve 2	1 and 2	24±3 Ω (when 20°C (68°F))

Check that air does not come out from (B) when air is blown into (A).

With terminal No. 1 connected to the battery positive terminal and terminal No. 2 to the battery ground terminal, check that air comes out from (B) when air is blown into (A).
