Pinpoint Test T : U1000:00

- T1 REVIEW THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Ignition ON.
- Perform the BCM self-test.
- Review the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) from the BCM self-test.
Are any Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) present besides U1000:00?
Yes CORRECT the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). REFER to DTC Chart: Body Control Module (BCM) . No GO to T2 - T2 REPEAT THE BCM (BODY CONTROL MODULE) SELF-TEST
- Using a diagnostic scan tool, clear the Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
- Wait 10 seconds.
- Repeat the BCM self-test.
Is DTC U1000:00 still present?
Yes CHECK OASIS for any applicable service articles: TSB, GSB, SSM or FSA. If a service article exists for this concern, DISCONTINUE this test and FOLLOW the service article instructions. If no service articles address this concern, BCM guided routine is not applicable for this vehicle and market. Replace the component that was faulted through service information diagnosis. No The system is operating correctly at this time. The circuit short has been repaired.
