Pinpoint Test O : DTCS U3006:16, U3006:17

- O1 REVIEW THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCS)
- Review the DTC from the DCMR self-test.
Are DTCs P0562:00 or P0563:00 set in other modules?
Yes RESOLVE those DTCs first or check the charging system. REFER to: Charging System . No GO to O2 - O2 CHECK VOLTAGE TO THE DCMR
- Ignition OFF.
- Disconnect DCMR C3396 .
- Measure:
Positive Lead Measurement / Action Negative Lead C3396-1 Ground
Is the voltage within 1 volt of battery voltage?
Yes INSTALL a new DCMR. REFER to: Differential Control Module Rear (DCMR) . No If the voltage was below 9 volts, INSPECT the differential relay and circuitry to the DCMR for corrosion or loose pins. REPAIR as necessary. TEST the charging system for an over voltage condition. REFER to: Charging System .
