Lower Timing Chain Cover, Replacing : Removing

-- Remove the front noise insulation. Refer to Front Noise Insulation .

-- Perform a service position. Refer to SERVICE POSITION, PERFORMING AND RESETTING .

-- Remove the vibration damper. Refer to VIBRATION DAMPER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the ribbed belt tensioner -1- from the sub-assembly bracket.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows- and remove the oil dipstick tube from the timing chain cover.

-- Remove the bolts -1 through 15-.

-- Pry off the lower timing chain cover.
