Electro-Mechanical Parking Brake Control Module J540: Installing

-- Connect the electrical connector -2- on the control module.

-- Slide the retainer on the connector back and lock it.

-- Insert the control module.

-- Install the nuts and tighten to 9 Nm.

Install the trailer mode control module and bracket, if applicable. Bracket, 3 Nm.

-- If the electronic parking brake control module is replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in"Guided Fault Finding"  .

Use the vehicle diagnostic tester.
