Overview - Bumper Cover, Standard
CAUTION:
Note the following for vehicles with lane change assist.
If rear bumper is removed and re-installed or changes are made to bumper, lane change assist (Audi side assist) calibration is necessary. Refer to LANE CHANGE ASSISTANCE, CALIBRATING .
- Rear Bumper Cover
- Removing and installing. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

- Upper Guide Piece
- Insert into the guide piece and lock.
- Removing and installing. Refer to BUMPER GUIDES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD ALLROAD .
- Clip
- Pins
- Removing the bumper cover upward. Refer to BUMPER COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD, ALLROAD .
- Left Guide Piece
- Removing and installing. Refer to BUMPER GUIDES, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD ALLROAD .
- Bolt
- 1.5 Nm
- Tightening sequence. Refer to 14
- Nut
- 17 Nm
- Bumper Carrier
- Right Guide Piece
- Upper Guide Piece
- Insert into the guide piece and lock.
- Spoiler
- Removing and installing. Refer to ATTACHMENTS, REMOVING AND INSTALLING, STANDARD, ALLROAD .
- Bolt
- 1.5 Nm
-- Tighten the bolts to 1.5 Nm in the following sequence: -1 to 5-.
