Engine Coolant Temperature Sensor On Radiator

Removing 

-- Briefly open the coolant reservoir cap to reduce the residual pressure in the coolant system.

-- Remove the front noise insulation -1-. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Disconnect electrical connector -2- on Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor on Radiator -G83-.

NOTE:

Lay a cloth below to catch escaping coolant.

-- Remove the retaining clip -1- and the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.

Installing 

Installation is done is reverse order, observe the following:

NOTE:

Replace O-ring.

Insert the new engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor immediately in the connection to prevent coolant loss.

-- Install the noise insulation. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Check the coolant level COOLING SYSTEM, DRAINING AND FILLING .
