Coolant Temperature Sensors -G62- / -G83-, Connector Assignment

Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor -G62-

The ECT Sensor sits on coolant connector adapter on left of cylinder head.

-- Carefully release and disconnect 2-pin electrical connector -arrow-.

  1. Wire connection from ECT Sensor to engine control module
  2. Sensor ground (GND)

Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor on Radiator -G83-

The ECT Sensor (on Radiator) sits on front of engine.

-- Carefully release and remove 2-pin electrical connector -arrow-.
