Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N205- / Exhaust Camshaft Adjustment Valve 1 -N318-, Removing And Installing, Cylinder Bank 1 (Right): Removing

-- Remove the engine cover, refer to ENGINE COVER, REMOVING AND INSTALLING .

WARNING:

Fire hazards and risk of damage for a faulty engine cover.

  • The engine cover must be always be installed before the hood is closed.
  • The engine may neither be started nor driven without an engine cover.

-- Loosen the clamps -arrows- and remove the air guide pipe.

-- Disconnect the connector -1-.

-- Remove the bolt -2- in question and then remove the valve:
